Srinagar: Two more non-local labourers have been gunned down by terrorists today, taking the number of civilians killed in targeted attacks in Kashmir this month to 11.
Terrorists opened fire at the labourers at Vanpoh area of Kulgam district today. A non-local labourer has been also injured in the incident.
These killings came just a day after a gol-gappa hawker from Bihar as well as a carpenter from Uttar Pradesh was shot dead by terrorists.
The hawker Arbind Kumar Sah was shot in Srinagar whereas the carpenter Sagir Ahma was shot dead by terrorists in Pulwama.
Of the these 11 killings, five were non-local labourers. This indicates that the terrorists want to drive non-locals out of Kashmir.
Areas have been sealed and searches are on.
