Srinagar, December 13: BJP Kashmir unit on Sunday said some sections of media were spreading negative propaganda against party regarding Dal Lake incident. Party’s Kashmir Media Incharge, Manzoor Bhat in a statement said it is unfortunate that some sections of media were propagating against party workers regarding the Dal Lake incident. It was boat carrying journalists that was capsized and were rescued immediately. There was no wrong in that.
Bhat said adequate arrangements were in place for media and after leaving from the spot incident occurred. Soon after the incident, all three Journalists were rescued and incident happed as small boat lost its balance. As per Bhat It is unfortunate to see some sections of media were spreading negative propaganda that BJP workers drowned. None among the party workers was drowned during the incident. They should have verified the news before publishing it. We are thankful to Almighty Allah that all Journalists were safely recused.
Bhat said both of Journalists were his colleagues and he wxpressed his deep sympathies with the Journalists. Being from a journalist background, I understand their pressures and compulsions. All of them were stable and fine now.
