Kashmir: Sopore, Two militants have been killed so far in an ongoing encounter that broke out between security forces and militants in Kreeri village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district today.
Terrorists fired upon joint naka party of Police and CRPF near Kreeri area of Baramulla. Two CRPF and one JKP personnel sustained critical gunshot injuries who later on succumbed at hospital and attained martyrdom. Area has been cordoned off and search operation is going on.
Officials told that a joint team of Army, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a Cordon and search operation in outskirts of Baramulla soon after the terrorists attacked on forces.
As per reports, firing from both sides is still going on and two militants have been killed in this gunfight so far.
